Photovoltaic Relays with a Capacity of up to 45A

With its ALFG Relay Series, Panasonic Electric Works has already optimized its solutions for inverter applications in photovoltaic power generation systems.

For the benefit of engineers who design solar inverters, ALFG relays provide circuit elements that comply with the photovoltaic standard VDE0126, in addition to offering further advantages compared to the components used previously. Until now, these relays were designed for photovoltaic systems producing up to 7kW.

To extend its reach beyond the consumer segment, Panasonic has now modified a further relay specifically targeting solar inverters used in photovoltaic parks. A modified version of the highly successful HE Relay, which was conceived for up to 45A of current feed (as well as power cutoff), the HE High Power Relay is designed for photovoltaic systems that generate up to 11kW. http://panasonic-denko.co.jp/ac/e/control/relay/power/he-pv/index.jsp

The PEW Photovoltaic Relay Series meet the full range of requirements of state-of-the-art solar inverter relays – thereby helping to reduce CO2 emissions resulting from the combustion of fossil fuels.

Panasonic Electric Works will continue to expand its product range in the area of "Green Automation."
